Salary level does not dictate one or other recruitment methodology (or increasingly a combination) we endorse; we are guided by the person specification.
The business does not simply use database searches nor permanently hold candidates’ CVs. We believe genuinely that clients should not have to just choose between candidates who failed from earlier assignments or those who have speculatively sent us their CVs. Of course, occasionally, strong candidates are appointed through such routes though it is often just through luck - even then a client cannot always be certain a professional selection process would not have yielded even better prospects.
Our focus and success is based on our experience and expertise in Search and Selection. This, of course, differs from agencies with just functional or sector specialisations.
For our clients commitments made to them on cost and time are of paramount importance. Our fee is clearly set at the beginning of the assignment and remains fixed, regardless of the salary paid. Similarly shortlist timing is agreed at the beginning of our work and we will do everything in our power to keep to that commitment.
Our success is based on long client relationships reflecting our ability to understand widely varying client needs and on the high volume of work involved in seeing more candidates and spending more time with them than many in-house recruiters could usually afford.
Lawson Recruitment’s team have over forty years’ experience of helping make appointments. Simon O’Brien and Jon Lale are the main architects of Lawson Recruitment.
They have early careers in managing research teams for Executive Search businesses before spending two decades in recruitment consultancy.
Lawson Recruitment will focus its main activities on the search and selection of middle to senior management.
